Clayton Hall is a moated sited hidden behind trees in Clayton Park (Ashton New Road, Manchester, M11 4RU) in East Manchester, close to Manchester City FC’s Etihad Stadium.

Clayton Hall is a very old building and is Grade II* listed and we are bound by some limitations. Unfortunately, some rooms are not accessible by wheelchair. Find out more below and how to get here.

Getting around Clayton Hall

There are cobblestones over the Grade II listed bridge from Clayton Park into the Hall’s grounds. The pathways in the Hall’s grounds are tarmacked however some surfaces are uneven and may be slippery when wet. If you require assistance, please feel free to get in touch prior to your visit by emailing info@claytonhall.org

The following rooms are accessible on the ground floor: Main entrance, Victorian Kitchen, Victorian Dining Room, Wash House, Tearoom/Gift Shop and Tearoom Dining Room. There are steps down into the Cold Store Room. There are baby changing facilities and WCs in the Georgian section of the Hall and an accessible WC in the Tudor section of the Hall near the Tearoom.
